Bar Flies

Bar flies are often known by a variety of different names including vinegar flies, fruit flies & fermentation flies. Essentially bar flies are attracted to any substance that is fermented or fementing such as beer, wine, fruit juice, rotting fruit, build up of organic matter in drains and bins, etc. Control of bar flies is best achieved with a combination of traps, residual insecticides, space sprays, good hygiene and cleanliness.
