HOW TO USE
Choose the right location
Place the Inhalor CO₂ Mosquito Trap outdoors in a shaded, sheltered position approximately 6–12 metres away from areas where people are sitting, dining or entertaining. Consider prevailing wind direction and avoid placing the trap directly beside frequently occupied areas. Once positioned, allow the trap to operate in the same location for several days before deciding whether to move it.
Connect a compatible CO₂ cylinder
Attach a compatible SodaStream-style CO₂ cylinder according to the product instructions. The CO₂ cylinder is not supplied with the trap and must be purchased separately.
Add the optional Pestrol Mosquito Booster
If using the optional Pestrol Mosquito Booster, place it in the designated section of the trap before operation. The Booster is designed to work alongside the CO₂ system as part of the trap’s multi-stage attraction system.
Connect the trap to power
Plug the unit into a suitable power source and switch it on. Ensure the power connection is positioned and protected in accordance with the product instructions.
Set up the smartphone app
Connect the Inhalor to the compatible smartphone app and follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup. The app allows you to control operating times, create schedules and manage the CO₂ function independently.
Set your operating schedule
During periods of higher mosquito activity, the trap can be operated continuously, while the CO₂ function can be scheduled separately. As a general guide, CO₂ can be operated for around 6 hours per day, particularly during periods when mosquito activity is higher. Scheduling the CO₂ function can also help extend cylinder life.
Allow the trap to operate consistently
For best ongoing use, keep the trap in a consistent location rather than frequently moving it. Allow approximately 3–4 days in one position before assessing whether another location may be more suitable.
Check and empty the collection chamber
Inspect the collection chamber regularly and empty it when required. Ensure the chamber is correctly refitted before restarting the unit.
Monitor the CO₂ cylinder and Booster
Check the CO₂ supply periodically and replace or exchange the cylinder when empty. If using the optional Pestrol Mosquito Booster, replace it according to its recommended replacement schedule.

Precautions
For outdoor use only. Always place the Inhalor CO₂ Smart Mosquito Trap on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area and away from children and pets.
Use only a compatible CO₂ cylinder and ensure it is securely connected before operation. Do not puncture, modify, heat or expose the CO₂ cylinder to direct flame or excessive temperatures.
Do not use the trap in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces. Keep the unit and electrical connections protected from excessive water exposure and do not immerse the trap in water.
Always switch off and disconnect the unit before cleaning, moving the trap or replacing the CO₂ cylinder. Follow the instructions supplied with both the trap and the CO₂ cylinder.
