VesPEX wasp lure, a very useful tool.

VesPEX Pro European Wasp Lure is really good at attracting European wasps to the exclusion of bees and flies. While it is designed to both trap queens in Spring and Autumn and be mixed with a toxicant to be delivered to the nest by workers, the latter is my preferred use - why waste a good wasp when they can be your delivery lady, particularly to nests that are hard to find or reach. Highly recommended
