Trelona Active Monitoring System Kit (16 Stations)

The Trelona Active Monitoring Kit is a carton of 16 pre-assembled active inground termite bait stations ready to be installed. Each bait station contains:

• 1 x monitoring timber
• 1 x 124 g active bait cartridge per station

The Trelona Active Monitoring System (AMS) is an innovative termite baiting solution designed to help pest management professionals detect and eliminate termite activity early. As part of the Trelona ATBS (Advanced Termite Baiting System) range, this system provides a flexible and proactive approach to termite management, complementing the Trelona Active on Application (AoA) System.

Trelona AMS is a lower cost alternative providing an opportunity to accelerate new installations and retrofits, leading to long term stability and profits.

How does Trelona Active Monitoring System work?
Powered by a novel active ingredient Novaluron, Trelona requires much less bait for complete colony elimination to be achieved when compared to other termite baits. Each Trelona Active Monitoring System bait station is equipped with:

• 1 x monitoring timber – Attracts termites for early detection.
  1 x 124g active bait cartridge – Delivers highly effective termite control upon feeding.

Unlike the Active on Application (AoA) System, which contains two active bait cartridges for year-round protection, the Active Monitoring System requires more frequent inspections (within 12-week intervals) to assess termite activity and determine if additional baiting is necessary.

The Trelona Active Monitoring System offers a slightly more economical solution for termite management, allowing pest professionals to detect activity early while using fewer active bait cartridges upfront.

Trelona ATBS may also be used in combination with BASF’s industry-leading termiticides, Termidor Residual Termiticide and Insecticide and Termidor HE Residual Termiticide so a management system can be tailored for any situation.

Trelona for use in areas conducive to termite foraging
Install Trelona in and around structures to be monitored or protected. Trelona may be installed as an Active Monitoring System with a single Trelona Bait cartridge in each station or as an Active on Application System with two Trelona Bait cartridges in each station. Managing termites within structures with Trelona
Trelona ATBS are compatible with and designed to be used in conjunction with the complete range of Termidor Products. Termites within structures should be controlled and eradicated using Termidor Foam, Termidor Residual Termiticide and Insecticide and/or Termidor HE. Where construction issues limit the efficacy of either Trelona, ATBS or a Termidor-treated zone or in areas of high risk, a combination system can be applied to protect the structure.
