Automatic pyrethrum aerosol dispensers are commonly used for the control of fruit flies (also known as bar flies, vinegar flies or fermentation flies) and other flying insects in commercial situations such as bars and restaurants, hotels, clubs, food manufacturing, etc. These automatic dispensers periodically give a burst of pyrethurm based insecticide. The time interval between bursts can be set to 5, 10 or 15 minutes for the indoor model.
Being pyrethrum based these dispensers are suitable for use around food products and food processing areas including bars and kitchens.
