The Big Cheese Home Choice All-Weather Block Bait is a paraffin wax block for the control of rats and mice. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the blocks keep the bait fresh and palatable, even in wet weather and avoids spillage when setting, so it is safe for use around food storage areas.

The Big Cheese All Weather Block Bait is a moisture-resistant difenacoum rodenticide that stays effective in wet sheds, damp garages, and outdoor areas where grain or paste baits break down.

The active ingredient β€” difenacoum at 0.025 g/kg β€” is a second-generation anticoagulant that kills rats and mice, including strains resistant to older poisons like warfarin. Rodents feed on the bait over several sessions before a lethal dose takes effect, usually within 3–14 days. Because the kill is delayed, rodents don’t associate the bait with danger and keep feeding.

Each block has a central hole for secure rod placement and fits all standard tamper-resistant bait stations. A bittering agent is included to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion by children and pets.

    FOR BEST RESULTS
Eliminate alternative food sources. This will make the rodenticide more attractive.

Wear gloves when handling baits, not just for safety but because rodents can detect human odours and it might cause bait shyness.

Place the bait station where there are signs of rodent activity such as droppings, evidence of feeding or even chewed skirtings.

You may want to MONITOR BEFORE BAITING like Pest Control Professionals do. Place a non-poisonous lure (like peanut butter, nuts, chocolates, marshmallows, or soft cheese) in the bait station and monitor. When you see evidence of bait take, remove the Lure and replace with The Big Cheese Bait. This way you are ONLY using Poisons where you are likely to get the best result.
Space bait stations 2-3 metres apart.

Place the station along a wall so the wall guides the rodent into the station.

Leave the Bait Station in place for 2-3 days. Inspect baits daily for evidence of feeding. Rats can be shy and may monitor the station a few times before feeding.

Replenish baits until you see no more evidence of bait take.

Remove the bait station when feeding activity ceases and there is no more evidence of mice. This may take up to 2 weeks if there is multiple mice present.
