Rats in ceiling are ignoring the bait.
The traps and gel were effective. Eventually in cashed a competent pest controller who used the correct spray, but i will continue to use the traps and bait to stop further infestation.

Inexpensive lightweight and sturdy Patrol Outdoor & Indoor Barrier Spray RTU forms a barrier against pests such as spiders, ants, fleas, paper-nest wasps, cockroaches, mosquitoes and flies before they get inside. The product can be used around the perimeter of the home, under eaves, guttering and down pipes, around window frames, under the house and around foundations.
Spiders: Spray directly onto spiders or where webs are present. For long-lasting protection spray under floors eaves around windows, protected areas and inside cracks and crevices. Repeat when spiders begin to reappear.
