Starycide Insect Growth Regulator (IGR)

Starycide is an insect growth regulator (IGR) registered for the control of silverfish, immature fleas and cockroaches in indoor and outdoor situations, and container breeding mosquitoes outdoors.

Starycide IGR provides highly targeted insecticidal activity and contains the active ingredient triflumuron, an insect growth regulator which affects chithin synthesis. This mode of action is very selective ensuring excellent safety for higher-order vertebrates.  Over time, Starycide provides a selective but inevitable population decline of target pests. 

Starycide is normally applied with an adulticide for a quick knockdown, but can also be applied by itself or in conjunction with cockroach gels.
